PIONEER TOWN

Where can you find an Opera House, Pioneer Emporium and Cowboy Museum, Family Center (play room), café, bottle house, print shop, log cabins, and other storefront displays all in one place? Pioneer Town at 7A Resort is where.

Strolling through the streets of this reconstructed western town of the 1880’s, you can imagine a day when desperados faced off with the local law and decent citizens rubbed shoulders with card sharps and fancy ladies.

Throughout the summer months and many week-ends of the year Pioneer Town is open for visitors. Those who stay in the cabins and lodges as well as day visitors tour the fascinating collection of Western memorabilia in the Museum; play pool, ping pong, or arcade games in the Family Center; and stop off to enjoy a treat in the Ice Cream Parlor. All enjoy the house constructed entirely of soft drink bottles and the historical dog trot house moved onto the site from nearby Canyon Lake. Little cowboys and cowgirls roam the streets playing their own versions of Wild West shoot-outs. Occasionally Pioneer Town even plays host to moviemakers, re-enactors, musical programs, and special events.
