Dear Guests,
What a summer!
The hottest that most of us can remember.
The pool and river continue to call us as we try to bear the
heat. But we count our
blessings. It is still good
to see all of you, especially those
who have come year after year, in dry-rock-river times and flood
times. We are especially thankful to have a deep water side of the low
water bridge. The Blanco continues to flow, though a little slower than
normal.
More family reunions and church groups have
visited this year than ever before and that looks to continue as folks
try to reconnect at one place from time to time.
Our lodges provide a perfect venue for that!
At this time of year, we usually look forward to the first cool
spell and the rain that usually graces September.
We pray for that now. We
still hope to see you this Fall as the pace slows, school starts, and
fewer people visit our little village.
Autumn remains a great time to get away, so come join us.
